Personally, I'd just buy a cheap digital camera with sound, 1gb SD card and a shiteload of zip ties.
But either way, they're cool.

Haha you could do that. Was thinking about buying a long piece of metal and drilling holes in to slide under my head rest. If I could thread a hole for a screw in it my camera would hold no probs.

Between the two seats, hole at each end, one in the middle, 2 cable ties, job done.
Good plan.
Or you could buy a roll cage and a camera mount

well, my camera only has one threaded hole on the bottom, so it'd rotate from side to side, cable ties would stop it turning

Same with mine, if its done up tight enough it shouldnt move though I dont think. Thing if the thread isnt in the right place it will be off center once its tight enough

I forgot the thread is actually in the camera. So I drill a hole in the middle I can put a bolt throught the other side. Plan.

You might be able to adapt the top from a cheap tripod, the platform would be very useful.

I've got one of these. Just set it up yesterday on my steering wheel to look at my speedo 
When i get a full cage in i'll be putting it to that.
