7200rpm and enough power to reach the rev limiter with 195/45 15s equates to 141.81mph

my GPS wasn't far off that, but not quite 141mph.

F15CR yes?

So, in theory, mine should be capable of 145mph when mapped to 7,500rpm?

The gear ratios would allow the car to reach 143mph

BUT, that's not taking tyre pressures, wind speed, fuel load, frontal area, drag coefficient or any other things.

Mine SHOULD have done 142mph, but it wouldn't, there was nothing after about 8/9mph less than that.

Just over 1mph with 300 more rpm?

Aslong it's capable of 140mph, I'm VERY happy

Sorry, I pressed the wrong key 144.

That's only theoretical though, like I say, mine wouldn't go a touch over 134, not a chance.

Is this your 1.4 spec, or your 1.6?

It was running the same bhp/ton as mine, if not more, was it not? I'm sure yours would of

Mine easily pulls to the limiter in 5th..

So, when mine is 150bhp after a map, I would thought I could gain an extra 7mph quite easily...

Jenko-Sure the ecu hasn't had the limiter raised?

Anyone know what x16 rev limit is? 6750?
If so thats about bang on 100mph real speed, on 14s, with a f15cr, 3.74 fd. In 4th.

At 7500rpm, in 5th, you wouldn't be far off 150mph(148) As previously mentioned tho, aerodynamics come into play at those kind of speeds.

Assuming your rev limiter is at 5700, you'd need a 3.42:1 FD

Which it's not, it's 3.74

so, with your tyres and a 5k rev limit, the gearing won't allow for more than 117.41 in fifth, 97.09 in 4th, that's with no air resistance or anything

:dunno: I asked the guy doing it what gear he used. He said 4th. I then asked how fast it got up to. He said about 120. But X, Y and Z......

I've had 120 on my RA n my speedo said 125. Then with out my RA i've had 130 (on the speedo). About 125.

should be an indicated 108, so that's about right, that's not a true 108 though, that's about 100.
