Does Stoke have a shopping centre? Or is it just a big town?

It always annoys me how people from Stoke slag the place off - regardless of any regeneration or changes made - the general people from the area slate it. They are against any improvements but also against letting it stay the same.

No wonder it has a bad reputation as the people themselves don't do the place any favours! In fact the problem with stke is that its full of people from stoke ( and Afghans)

In the report where Stoke was voted as one of the worst places to live in the country - it was noted how good the retail opportunities and the amenities were.

However comparing Stoke to Manchester is likecomparing chalk to cheese

Depends where you park.

Kendals car park will probably need you to sell the car to pay to get out

Somewhere like Bridge St car park is around £5 for most of the day, £7.50 over 8hrs IIRC.

yeah, thats litterally right by mine. If you saw a big white bridge with wires, etc. then my apartment looks onto that, right by the river.
