pity about the rear view mirror.... its the same with my vids
Anyone else thats going on the trackday checking out the track layout?
The final corner before the pit straight seems pretty slidy in the vid!
No idea on the spec of the GTR....

If anything is going to catch you out, it'll be the first, second or 3rd corners.

Is it definitely the Indy circuit they're using, not the GP one?

Clearways....
Its a very fast left right (flat out if balls are big and car is setup), which goes into a fairly tightish right hander (Clearways). Line is very important to get the power down as the track drops under you into the dip on the exit of the curve, and its where most people will light up the rear wheels, then it raises again just after the pit entrance, then has a big dip again just accross the start/finish line before Paddock Hill....
This is looking back down the start/fin straight, after the point you mention...

Its a bit like Knockhill, a lot of raises and drops, but not as many as the circuits tighter.
And this is looking back accross Clark Curve (Clearways being at the top of the pic, you can't see the apex from this position (Also bikes are coming in form the GP circuit so different line))..

Paddock is fine if you take the right line
Druids is easy, its a hairpin, and the braking area is uphill.
As is Graham Hill Bend, its just a case of the right line.

Robin, surely if you carry too much speed into any corner its going to 'catch you out'

Well yeah, but it's an easy mistake to make on those particular corners.
