Was my first car when I was 17, sold it in August 2005 when I went to Uni.
God I miss it, learnt so much working on it. Last few pics of it are after I resprayed it (cost me £80) and got it looking how I wanted it.
Any ideas why it was badged as an 'Si'? Was a 1.4 16v Sport, first registered late '96? Was totally standard when I bought it, no badges on the boot either and no signs that it was de-badged?
Sold it with 130K miles on it, was still going strong at 160K last time I heard.

Looks tidy does that, shame you didnt keep it.
Maybe they wanted Si badges to make it look better, cause in my opinion Sport down the side looks gay and cheap, thats why i took mine off.

Nah sold it to one of my mates. He traded it in not so long ago and got a new car so no idea where it is now.

Yeah, something like that. Was to do with the engine.
My mates mum used to have a 5 door GLS pre-97, that said 1.4Si on the boot.

my gf has a 5door GLS M reg (1.4 16v) and thats got 1.4Si on the boot, allthough i have seen some GLS 5-doors pre-97 with 1.4 16v on the back
it seems random as to what badges they had
