im postin this comment on behalf as a mate, hes gota standard cd player n he wants to wire up his active sub can he jst run the two leads down n wire them up or wud he need sumink else?

Well he needs a HU with Pre-outs. Wiring kit as it needs power. An amp unless the active sub comes with one and thats about it.
