i'm gutted. had these wheels since just before christmas and kept them immaculate and curb free until there was huge amounts of corrosion on them so got them changed under warranty.
these are only a couple of weeks old! went through one of those 'give way to oncoming traffic' things where the curb comes out and turned to early and hit the curb at first thought i had only done one wheel but turns out it was the back one too. the other side is ok.
tyres have a little bit hanging off them where they hit but have no sign of a puncture or anything.
just annoying how you concentrate for so long whilst driving then you lose it for less than a second and this happens wasn't even going fast just hit the curb.
would it be wise sticking my sxi alloys on there even though the damage isn't affecting my driving in any way? e.g. pulling to the left, more bumpy.

I WOULD PRESUME that they are not repairable?

if possible to repair would not cost much less if it is 2 wheels, get new ones if it's just £130.

Those tyres are not safe for road use anyway, could easily have a blowout with the damage to the sidewall.
They probably could be repaired, but to be fair they can't be great quality as if they corroded between now and christmas, and have taken a massive chunk out of them quite easily (I say this as the car would probably be damaged from an impact that hard), they can't be good rims.

Personally, I'd replace rather than repair. Repaired wheels are a pain in the arse to balance, and are never the same.

these ones aren't corroded, the set before were as they were faulty.
the tyre's are fine, only took a couple mm's off a small amount of the side wall.
no damage to car, suspension is all fine and sitting perfect. happened so quickly and yes i do feel stupid, will definitely be putting sxi's on the front and the other two on the rear tomorrow then

i hit it hard just not fast, simply just turned back in too quickly and misjudged the distance from my car to the curb.

Ive given up looking after wheels now, after taking my time & being carefull then having the 'One Second Of Stupidity' parking in too much of a rush...whatever they always end up scraped. So now I dont give a fuck, makes my life so much easier

i wouldn't have minded a curb mark but a huge chunk is noticeable
trying to look for two of these now but don't seem to be having much luck. 15'' wolfrace LH1 in polished style. don't need tyres, just the rims.
