Dare i say it ive seen a nice 106 GTi, totaly standard.

Whats the maintenance costs actually like on these? whats power like? how many miles is the engine good for?

cheap to run, good power, quicker than a corsa. handle very well.

pugs are as good as any car when looked after. There are a few people on the members clubs with 180,000k +

So knocking on 100,000 is no problem then

whats it like comapred to a quick silver? as there seems to be plenty of those about

as long as it has service history and looked after i would happily buy a 100k one.

With breathing mods they can get 140bhp and weight nothing, so would give a standard C20xe conversion a run for its money

quicksilver is 1.4 is it not? go for a GTi mate best all round 106 there is

Watchthe gearboxes. Mines just gone and took the clutch out with it.. A nice £700+ repair bill this month.

Park up, engine on, clutch down, 3rd gear, gently lift clutch and listen for knocking from the bottom of the engine.
