If you get the error code: 81000314

Do this; open up C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts in notepad, then add this below. at the very end

65.54.239.80 messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.80 dp.msnmessenger.akadns.net

Restart MSN and you should be able to login.
