HIYA guys need some advice here goes essay warning!......
Okay dropped my is200 sports to Lexus dealer Tuesday just gone
To have full 60k full service along with camblet changed, droped off
Car Tuesday morning, Gave me a courtesy car for the day and
Went to collect my car the following morning! Everything seemed okay
Paid £700 for work done car was valuated cleaned parked facing wall so couldn’t
See front-end drove it home and noticed had huge crack
In front of bumper I was very amused, so phoned the dealer up and went back up there
After arguing with the manger he agreed it was there
Fault etc.........
Okay my car is booked in again next week on 26 to get it sorted
Got phone call 2day I will offer you a new bumper and you pay for respray which
Is £160 and we will fit the bumper on the 26th as my bumper wasn’t brilliant and had apparently
Been repaired before!
Where do I stand with it?? Been told to write a letter to there head office? Anyone give me some tips or draft for letter
As to be honest they haven’t been very professional at all and don’t really trust them with
My car now at all!
Because end of the day car was fine until it went in for service and now
Regardless if paint on original bumper wasn’t brilliant doesn’t matter does it? Didn’t have a crack going all up the bumper!
have taken pics will try 2 upload them later!
Thanks

Avoid main stealers if possible. I much prefer specialists that have a good rep so can be trusted...

Yep, happened to my old man. Took his car in for a routine service, took them 3 days and when he did get it back it had an extra 800mile on

a little bit of putting the foot down isnt bad, perks of the job, its only when you can smell the clutch miles off and the handbrake is looser than a glasgow chavs knickers that you start killing people
