Really fucked off.
I've been saving for a while to get rid of my credit card, but spent most of the money on my car, so i apllied for a loan to pay off my credit card as i keep on using it. So i applied for a loan, got accepted as by Yes Loans, and have an acceptance letter dated 1/2/07, not in any rush for it but it's now been 16 days and no money yet the £49.50 charge was taken out of my account.
So i phone them today and after waiting 20 minutes for someone to be available after giving all my details the bird says i was declined the credit! I was like WTF!!!!! I was expecting her to say funds are being transferred!!
I then find out Yes Loans is a broker and the £49.50 charge was the cost of them looking for a loan for me!!!! they are now sending me new forms as i need to get someone over 25 to act as a guarantor!!
    pisstake.

You're always better getting the loan from the credit card provider.

I bet you £100 if you said "give me a loan to pay off the total card amount and you can close the card" they would.

Totally agree.
I have 8k hanging over my head for the next 3.5 years, I borrowed 8, and have only just (after 18 months) got back to that figure.

Never had a Credit Card or loan personally, would rather save and buy something than pay interest all for the sake of beeing impatient
Besides it's a mugs game, my mates 25 and has about 22k of debt through loans and Credit cards, not much to show for it and most of his wages go towards paying them off, he's not moving out of his mums till they are all paid off...he's got 4/5 years left
NEVER GET A LOAN IF YOU CAN AFFORD SOMETHING SAVE FOR IT
