how do you get them to open, if your like me and dont have any nails

I also have no nails and can still open it easily enough

Still quite easy even without finger nails, just make sure your pushing on the plastic cap and not the rubber seal or they start to bend and won't go back.

No fibreglass had touched this.

Made a dip where the finger flicker thing was and filled it with body filler. Smoothed it all off and then skimmed across a thin layer of filler make sure it was all smooth and level.

When I make mine I use fibreglass paste to bridge the hole then small layer of filler over the top. to smooth it out.

still couls sink, i did one with a plastic repair 2 pack glue and it sunk so the last one i done i got plastic welded. def wont sink

I know its not the best way to do them but it works and 18 months on from my first one still hasn't sunk!
