Don't know why I'm posting as it's not the damage of the century, but peugeot in front indicating left to go into hotel, it was really busy so I was pretty close behind her then she slammed her brakes on by the time I did the same I had hit her car and scuffed her bumper after exchanging details and thinking my bumper was allright, I got home and checked to see this:

gutted that it got dented how the heck did it happen it was only a off side scuff and did not even dent her car. Good job I stopped as well as she works for the police lol.

if she had not stopped so quick for appently no reason then I would not have hit her and it was in a slight traffic jam so everyone was close.

I know and I wish I was - I was only saying earlier that I'm glad my car does not have any scratches or dents how I wish I did not say that.

always leave a lot of space between you and the car in front, that way if your in a traffic jam and your temperature gauge goes very high like mine usually does, you can roll forward slowly to lower the temperature
never ''sit on'' someones back bumper, when someone does it to me i brake sharply, tends to scare them off
damage don't seem to bad, just take the wing off to make sure ht einner wing isn't damaged.

Tyres and tarmac is the amount of space you should leave so if the car in front breaks down then you can easily maneuver round
