right iv got a set of 17's which are et38, would it be safe to have them machined to say et 45 so that they wont still catch my arches?

this has been asked before and it seems that its only safe to lose 2-3 mm off the wheel.

Find some wheels that are actually made to fit your car matey.

So much easier and safer.

Yep mcr kit and reiger rear.

Front bumper is being modified though, number plate recess smoothed and a small sublte splitter being added.

depends on the individual wheel as to if its better or not, maybe you should take them to an engineering place and they will tell you how much that can safely be removed
