i think i need 3 screens at work 
would make things easier... have 2 (as everyone does these days) but now im getting more involved in software testing, it would be lots easier with 3 screens... just done have the space for 3x15" on my desk

I wish I had 2 screens at work. I think I might bring my own PC in because the computer I use is crap and I think I have toasted it's insides

Email on one, unix screen sessions on the other is one way in which 2 screens would be used.
VM sessions aswell, also could have a document on one, and applications on the second. Allows you to work without interuption of alt+tab, and still have full sized windows.
Not really hard to imagine why someone would want 2 screens

with me i have the fault management open in one screen, with our software open in the other.
saves having to go back and forth reading each and doing entries on the other.
would need a 3rd to have VNC onto a terminal server to get responses to said entries and seeing the errors.
plus i have my emails, internet and all the other crap too

yes I have 2 20 inch dell screens for work as I use VM quite alot
LAso with DVI the resolution is so much crisper
