sorry about pic quality.

anyway story.... was driving back to the girlfriends house last night when i just got onto the motorway put my foot down overtking a lorry at about 60-65mph when suddenly my car cut out pulled stright ova took off the oil cap and turne the car ova, the cams didnt move which told me cambelt snaped on it, so ther i was stranded on hard shoulder at 10pm at nite waiting for the AA to take me and girlfriend back to ormskirk.

was looking ova service book on it, its only done 15thousand miles on this cambelt any reason why it shud of gone?

been on the look out for a nu engine today finaly got 1 whats coming from irland only dun 39thousand miles with a 3 months warranty.

Rollers might have failed rather than the belt, same outcome.

What engine do you have?

mine had the belt changed, sold it to my mate who a mechanic 10k later, he went to whip a new belt on and the rollers were mangeled, he said it could of gone at any second,
