the cars due for mot in the morning, it has been off the road for 2 years nearly but iv owend it for the last 6 mnth. when i was putting the bonnet cable in i noticed a crack on drivers side as shown in immage (i used other side as its clearer to show) would it pass or fail and is it weldable?

mine has a crack in the same place and its passed 2 mot`s fine, didnt get an advisory either.

you wont see that for a battery id would not worry about it

Might pass an MOT if they don't see it/you hide it but would you like to drive a car around with a crack there?

That is the question I'd be asking myself.

awww feck i didnt realise, as Matt H said, get a sticker over it or some black hammerite
