yes i was sat in a mates flat, saw a figure walk past the doorway.
needless to say i shat my self and grabbed the biggest thing to hand which happend to be a giant candle.
i then went in persuit of the intruder my mate armed with a knife, me a candle. we found nothing and came to conclouison it was a ghost.
some other people have seen things there too

my parents staircase overlooks the hallway and I saw a figure walk through and dissapear, I was on my own at the time so that was scary and I have seen other stuff but it really freaks me out to talk about it I have goosebumps now!

My mates house is haunted, old boy killed himself there by stuffing his head in the gas oven.
If you're on your own you get the feeling that you're being watched or followed around the house. Was always accompanied by the smell of gas, not like normal gas, similar smell to camping gas that you could never actually place where it was coming from.
Stuff also used to fly off of shelves in the middle of the night without disturbing anything around them. This was generally after any kind of decorating work though.
