We had a music festival last year, was only 1day, but was really good Fatboy slimplayed and a few other acts,
got the confirmation through the door this morning
this year its on the 9th & 10th of june
Chemical Brothers & Daft Punk are playing
2Day even this year,
35,000 people
4 Stages
70 Acts
Cinema
Silent Disco (?)
24hour cafe
Licensed bars
Camping
all in a wee sleepy town with the population of around 250 on the banks of Loch Ness
last year was ace, watching the sunset while Fatboy slim was playing some excellent tunes,
well worth the trip for anybody wanting a change, you'll probably not see Daft Punk & Chemical Brothers play together anywhere else this year
tickets available on..
www.ticketline.co.uk
www.ticketmaster.co.uk
www.thebooth.co.uk
www.secxtra.com
and loads of other places around here but thats no use to most people
take the trip, its well worth it, the scenery is absoloutly amazing and it should be sunny as hell like last year,
loads of parking available

***UPDATE***
Groove armada now confirmed also,
The Automatic are playing, + more to be confirmed,
tickets on ticketline are pre approved, and will most likely be cheaper if you wait till 9am on saturday when they officially go on sale,

Silent discos are really really strange! there was one at reading last year. everyone has headphones on but with the same music so you went into the tent and it was soooo quiet just with the odd person singing but everyone was dancing lol

Glastonbury Festival is held in a little Village called Pilton (8 miles from Glastonbury) that has less than 100 people living there, but for one weekend of the year 150,000+ people are there and it causes chaos
I love it

Anywhere you can get tickets? Those websites don't have anything listed for rockness
Looks like a good line up though, saw a bit of daft punk last year at global then got dragged to tiesto, whos a load of sodding bollocks.
Shame fatboy slim isn't playing though, hes brilliant live!
Though it's a bit far for me, ryanair seem a bit shite flying into inverness, only can go from East Midlands otherwise its a 11hr drive
