how many holidays should you be getting a year?

we get 18 days
10 pubilc and bank holidays
4 of these at xmas ney year

and we need to take 6 holidays at xmas time.

anyone any idea about legalitie?

28 days a year sounds about right..

I get 29.5 days per year on my 4 on 4 off pattern of shifts.

you should get 4 weeks of whatever hours you work,

e.g. i work mon-friday all year so i get 4weeks holiday (20 days plus bank hols)

I get 33, Bank holidays included in that figure - and have to keep 5 for Christmas

we get 1 week easter 2weeks summer 1 week about november and usually 2-3 weeks at christmas depending on what day it falls. but where i work in the dockyard they sold most of the bank holidays so we are no longer entitled to them we only get like 3 or sumthin.
