Does anybody know what year they started using power steering on Corsa Bs?!
I need a new column, have got an S Reg corsa with power steering but dont want to go to a scrap and looking at all the old corsas if it was only put in a certain year onwards...

Look for the earliest models and see if it was an option.
Better still see if it standard - then you know a car you find will definitely have it.
I know my car as EPS (Electronic Power Steering) but don't know if any came with hydraulic or not.

I think pre-97 models Sports, GLS's and such will have them. All the post-97 cars, especially with 3 spoke steering wheel rather than 4 spoke, will have EPS.
One call to a Vauxhall dealer will get you your answer I should think.

you will need to bear in mind that its not just age but also spec you will need to go on. my 1999 V reg doesnt have power steering
