I have a Corsa C SXi. The left rear light cover is broken.
Spotted it when I got back to the car after being in Sainsburys. Its onlt the actual cover and the lightbulb still works.
At first I thought it was some kids of something - there is a small stone resting on the rear wiper which I thought was strange.
I talked to the security guard asking about if they had CCTV (I know they do). He said that the camera dont point at where the car is though - which seems abit rubbish!! Anyway he noted down my registration plate etc.
Thinking about it more and looking at it more it could have been as a result of a pothole. I went to sainsburys straight from work and on the way there I ran over a pothole. It was dark and rainy and kind off saw what looked like a pothole in the road but no time to avoid it. When I ran over it it was a fair bump. Thats why I think this is what caused the smash - also inside the light is brown dirt and like smashed up bits of stone/rock. However it does seem weird how running over pothole can result in a smashed rear light.
Anyway, bit pissed!!
Anyone know how much it would cost to replace the rear light cover?? Is it easy to repair it myself?

thats no pothole mate just think about it if you have noticed dirt and rock somehow i dont think a pot-hole will actually do that its litle chavs messing about you got a pic? i can have a look at it better for you

took pictures and will put online tonight
looking at the damage again this morning it doesnt look like its kids. as well as damage to light cluster there is little dent near boot handle, little damage to rear number plate and also scratch near bottom bumper. there is also bits of dirt inbetween rear wiper and window. i also spotted a small stone by the front wiper.

i have an SXi. is the outer part of the light darker than normal
i have looked on ebay and found one and the outer edge looks quite red
however mine isnt really

just had another look and there is a chip off my rear roof spoiler!! 
also scratched on the rear window - like stones have been scraped against it
