speaking to a mini owner (i know...) yesterday whos a mate from school. now you might be thinking what does he know bout corsas?

well as some of you probably know lets and xes are fairly popular to squeeze in minis.

but anyway he told me this..... apprently on a 1.4 vaux engine chaging the inlet to a better inlet can release like 30 brake? cus it was quite heavily restricted. any truth in this?

they are restictive but i wouldnt say an inlet on its own will give 30bhp . maybe with remap and zorst/cams it will

yes tis true.

30 bhp from an inlet on its own no chance with other mods inc exhaust and cams ect maybe 30 - 40 bhp

so how much would that cost?

and when you say exhaust do you mean like the whole system? i have an irmy backbox but i take it you mean like straight through/?

lexmaul and mantzel are companys that make aftermarket inlet manifold that increase BHP, also companys such as dibillas (sp) and velos have also made such products
