Just thought id post some pics of a mates corsa c sxi plus 1.3 cdti. So far all thats been done is a full colour code which he did himself and some sri lower grills. I think angel eyes, lowering and sri wheels are on the to buy list.

Here are some pics before he got the sri grills:

haha I like it. Can't see why he is buying angel eyes though as he has facelift C lights and they're pretty much the same.

Looks good but why would you buy a brand new car and then change stuff straight away???

Might as well have bought an older C IMO....

Why would you sit and play your PS2 in your car? One thing I have never understood.

when waiting on people etc or while extremely bored. Like he does deliveries for a chinese and sometimes you get a quiet spell of like 20mins - half an hour so it kills time.

Someone's stole his rear foglight

Looks quite good though. Personally i'd be saving the money spent on the angel eyes towards some bigger wheels - the wheels on it are alright, but rims have a huge effect on the appearance of a car .

Rims, springs, a simple exhaust, and maybe a different top front grille, and leave it at that to have a mint looking car.

Ah right, missed that bit .

Wouldnt have thought there'd be much difference between the SXi plus, and a slightly older 1.7CDTi SRi though, and then he'd have all the bits already . Don't know his circumastances though, so can't really comment.

How mauch are SRi rims changing hands for these day's then?

fuel econemy was a must when he bought it so thats why its the 1.3cdti an not the 1.7.

and sri rims go for £350+ but theyre hardly ever for sale.

Fair enough, presumably it's because of previously stated delivery job?

Didn't think they went for that much . Personally for that kind of money i'd go for something different I think though. SRi rims are alright, but you can get some nicer looking, bigger wheels for not alot more/less (especially second hand).

alright guys, dvd/ps2 are there for when i not got many deliverys, bumpstrips are staying off becuase personally i think the c looks nicer without them, as for the angel eyes they are smoked so tie in a lot better with the rest of the car, and as said i have covered 9k miles on it since november so had to be a diesel and 1.3 suited my circumstances best. as for exhaust not fitting one after all it is a diesel and lets be honest they dont sound all that great. and lastly about the wheels, i either want sri's or softstars not going for any cheap aftermarkets not the way i want to go with the car. next on the list is the wheels/ coilovers or shocks and springs oh and a new fog light. hope that answers your questions.

kenny
