Normally go for a pint of strongbow if i've been on the lager the night before, so much more refreshing that just starting on lager again. Also depends on cash tho, strongbow £2.10. Carling £1.80 if i'm skint i know what i'll be drinking 
Monday nights tho, £1.25 each, i'll normally be on Carling. can drink more longer 4.1% compared to 5%

And Im quite fond of the odd magners, or any of the kopparbergs. The 8% version is better though 
A mate of mine made cider once, left it brewing for ages. Fuck me it was disgusting, but strong.

i usually drink strongbow in preference to a lager. magners is great, but too much hassle with the bottle and by the time you've added the ice you drink a pint and a half for everyone elses single pint of draught.
started on cider because it was cheap and easy, and much nicer than the taste of lager. a 4 pack of suoper strongbow used to get 2 of us pissed
taught myself to drink lager for when it's easier at parties and when in rounds, etc, but i'd still opt for the cider given the choice.

Strongbow is nice pulled, Cirrus tastes like shit, Magners is weak piss water, Koppenberg is nice to chill out to as a refreshment
