All I can say is fair play kid

He could easily have let himself be protected and hidden away somewhere but he wanted to go with his mates.

I dont think its such a big thing, hes only a person end of the day and ive got friends out there, and my brothers been out there to fight on the front line. Me mate was involved in a road side bombing of a land rover, luckily came out of it with minor injuries, Prince Harry joined the army for a reason, and now hes going to do his job...

It's good IMO. You think back in the middle ages, kings, princes, noblemen etc, all used to go to war, not sit around and let others do the hard work.

Don't think Charles has ever been in active service has he?

Each to their own....If he signed up he should go if ordered.

However, I wouldn't want to serve under him. Harry and his unit will now be the #1 target in Iraq.

Yeah absolutely one of my best mates came back not so long ago. I've got a lot of respect for anyone who joins the forces goes to fight for us. It just so happens that he is one of a few people who joined the army who could get out of going and he chose not to. Glad your mate's ok btw.

I'd rather be in his unit behind as much defence as humanly possible than the phoney one that they will be telling everyone he is in
