Thought it was a 'good' read....

Although I have had a wee play with a CTR was nothing serious just me and my mate mucking about he couldn't pull away at all...

Hopefully my car will be getting the 'rica' treatment they talk about before summer..

CTR 0-60 = 6.6
T4 0-60 = 6.7

you see????

from 60-100 T4 gets the CTR every time..

we went to about 120 and TBH i had to back off slightly..

ive really been looking at t4s recently

firstly wanted a c70 t5 but there doesnt seem to be hardly any c70 t5s round here.

if i get a t4 6k should get me a nice 2.0 and ive seem some decent 1.9's around the 3-4k mark

mav they 5 speed?

What year? would you go for...Mine is a 1999 S40 T4....You could pick up a mint 2000 S40 T4 for about 3k...Prices have really fell. 2000 will be a phase 2 model too as mine is a phase 1..All 5 speed..

yeah they are quite rapid mate...

Standard stats are
1.9 turbo
0-60 = 6.7 secs
top speed 140mph +
200 bhp

With a rica remap and full system see about 240bhp, thats my aim for this year..

then add into that full heated leather, electric everything, cruise control etc etc..Mines is the T4 CD model which is the highest.
