I always thought it was a V6 cause they already had the engine, and it was released during a time they didn't have the money to develop the engine. Same reason they didnt make it 4WD which it should have been too!


The stories vary, some blame the recession, others blame production costs, and some say it was the emmissions issue.

At the end of the day it was so different from the concept when it went into production that loads of people cancelled their orders.
