I'm in agreement with willay on this, it did seem like Preston was being picked on, I think Simon Amstell is a funny fooker I really do but that was a bit harsh IMO.

Exactly. End of the day, Preston seems to rely on making telly appearances to boost the image of his band, and him and his missus both jumped on the publicity bandwagon after BB, hence on a show like buzzcocks, you'd have to go on fully expecting to get the piss ripped out of you, yes it's a bit harsh, but it's funny and he should have been prepared for it IMO.

I just watched the episode. I think the reason Amstel was being so harsh is because Preston didn't seem to want to join in with the banter...
