No am not going to ask about the differnces between them and air boxes and so on.
Me and my friend where fitting his to his Astra today. I was wondering what the tube that comes off the intake pipe that leads to the engine was for? No the MAS just before the throttle housing.

takes the oil vapour and fumes back into the engine when the crank case vents the vapour.Stops the fumes going to atmosphere.

i breathe in the fumes, id rather do that than have sticky valves and a clogged up throttle body!
