What do you think of my dad's van? Its took him 8 years to get this far after one engine and gearbox was stolen! Its only got 591 miles on it. Full bare metal respray, an old pinto block sitting in it is just there to see how the engine is going to sit. The pics aren't very good, they don't do it justise, the underneath is better than the outside to put into perspective.

The engine bay, old pinto block just sitting there to see if it will fit ok.

The back axle, can't really see how good it is, but really is perfection.

Underneath

The miles

The sump, its a 7 colour flip fading to silver at the bottom.

Well 1600 engine was meant to go in but it was stole so it would have went in no bother. But my dad doesnt really want to cut into the shell thats perfect, so he has to get a couple of things custom made for it to sit right. All going well it will work out alright

TBH don't know, doesn't really tell me much. The thing won't even be drove, the engine can only be run for 10 min because of the painted block. Think he's taking it to Classic Ford show whenever its ready.

im guessing he didnt use HTR paint then.

im sorry mate but i find that a bit sad, i would want to reap the benfits of the seed and drive the bloody thing

if hes taking it to the shows get ready for offers of cash, all day!

I know what you mean, when he told me i thought he was nuts. He just wants to keep it perfect, i'd prob do the same after the amount of time spent on it. Hope he doesnt sell it.
