got some cavalier calipers the other day from the scrappy, with the intention on doing a big brake conversoin but wanted to paint the caliper first. anyone know how to get them clean so i can pain them, cus there thick with crap

sand em down, but remember to seal the metal again or they'll rust

wire brush and alot of effort! how iv done mine before!

I used an attachment on a drill, then cleaned them up with white spirit before painting with Hammerite smooth.
