My local DVLA office in Northampton has recieved a package this morning which contains white powder. Possible antherax (*sp)

Police and chemical experts there.

My mate works above the DVLA.

thats not good, jus tryed to phone the DVLA and they said they were closed because of adverse weather conditions

Probably something else. I very much doubt a disgruntled motorist would send Anthrax throught the post.

well if a disgruntled motorist is willing to send a letter bomb to the dvla near me,im sure their willing to send anthrax

Its about time we had some mentals taking action against the government. Ill eat my words if it turns out different.

im not saying its right to bomb innocent folk for one minute, but if it is some unhinged joe bloggs who lost his liscence due to cameras or the like then at last he mite prove that we havent all turned into a bunch of pussies that say how high when labour say jump.

Some bloke was arrested under the mental health act earlier after phoning Radio 2 and confessing to sending letter bombs

Nothing on the BBC site about the Anthrax thing though.

We had a bomb scare at work today (had an anthrax scare when it was all going off last year too), had to spend 2 hours at the far side of the site even though we have blast proof windows! Turned out to be nothing in the end! My tea was cold by the time i got back to the workshop
