Hi, I have steinmetz heated/electric mirrors, however when I swicth them on, only the right on clears, can anyone tell me why?
I know my temperature sensor has gone, and the clock and date is wrong, would this affect it?

clock and temp sensor should be nothing to do with it . its most likely a wiring problem just gonna have to check all connections. if you have a voltage tester that would make it easier

Take the glass off and put a voltmeter on the contacts first of all. If there is power there it is the heater element, if not then its in the loom somewhere.
Not sure how the are fused?

ok, thanks guys. I'll get someone to give me a hand as I don't have a voltmeter
Stupid question, does the glass just pull off?
