What do I need to do?

The ET confuses me, does it mean ET 37 will be too wide and cause scrubbing?

Or do I need to use 5mm Spacers?

Am looking at getting a set of ET 37 Rims for the C, which is meant to be ET 42-49, is it advisable or should I give up on the idea?

Thanks

No ET 37 means they will stick out of the arches. Not really asviseable as they will be quite a bit out.

you need to do nothing, the ET is the offset of the wheel from the HUB the ET you see here is actutall -37 and -42 to -49 this is negative offset! the lower the number the more the wheel sticks out from the hub (usually for cars with smaller axles i.e. a skyline is et 22 iirc) This in laymans terms means your wheels will stick out (mayeb past the arches) futher than what they would if they were 42-491 you shopuld be fine with 37 on a C though!

Bugger, think that could be why they're sellin the rims then as they are probably a crap fit

Oh well, will just have to wait a bit longer for rims then I guess!

Rich, the SRi is ET40, so ET37 will be fine if you use thin tyres.

What size are the wheels?

btw, adding 5mm spacers will make it et32...even worse...spacers make them stick out more...

They're 16's with no tyres as yet. Wheels are goin at best offer over £100, and need a refurb, so was just waying up ideas before I brought them and ended up spending a lot of money on them!

I ideally want SRi rims anyway tbh. Or the opitonal 17's like on the parkers website

They should be fine, as long as you get 195/45 tyres, not 205s.

They'd only stick out 3mm more than the SRi ones.
