i love my GHD's, only use them when i do photoshoots though, my hair is naturally very straight anyways, btu they are wicked for curling your hair.. and yes alot of blokes use them nowadays !!!

My ex used to straighten his hair to spike it up which imo looked better than using alot of gel or wax! Yeah damn things i've gone through 5 or so pairs.

I got a set for xmas and mine have been fine so far, ive heard alot about them catching fire thou so would tell everyone who has a set to be careful
GHD are good thou - happened to 2 of my mates and they just got a new set
