well in a thread yesterday i think someone (Robin i think) was breaking down the cost of brakes / suspension / engine / mounting kit / gearbox / suspension plus fitting all of it the cost would be near £6k.

For £3500 i could supercharge the 106 and have 260bhp.

But i'd have £2500 spare, so what i was trying to say in response to a sarcastic remark is IF i spent £6k on a 106 gti it probably would be faster that a c20let corsa. who gives a fuck, it was a hyperthetical reply to a stupid post.

I said 6k for a Phase 4 LET, properly built, with suspension, brakes, diff and conversion kit.

You could LET a corsa for about 1500 quid if you really wanted.
