I need to know where the abs sensor is on the front at both sides, abs light come on and i managed to find a plug under rear seat which i re-connected but cant find the front ones. Thanks in advance.

by the way its a 2000 turbo

Ask on Scoobynet they will know!!

I owned a UK2000 but ive no idea where abs sensors are!!

arghhhhh its now dark and its going in for MOT tomorrow. I have registerd on scooby net but i havnt had my account approoved yet. can anyone ask on there for me

cant you go to a garage early in the morning and pay them a fee?

would be easier than messsing about in the dark IMO

ye defo is, we failed a peugeot this morning cos abs light came on when using brake tester! lol, are the sensors not built into the hubs? if so, the connectors are probably behind the hubs, near the struts?

i havent took it out yet since i plugged that connecter back together. should it go off straight away or will i have to drive it?

Ah ok sorry. I've got a scoob but cant think where the sensors are. Link the light up to em light for mot to get it through.

if you havnt taken it out since you reconneced the rear plug it mite be worth doing so... on some systems the light wont go off till you go above 15mph or so, mite be worth trying that... if not take Gary's advice, ignorance is bliss

He will def check it by just turning ignition.

i paid £30 for diagnostics and it said front left abs sensor

would this be the connection under rear seat? id of thought they was for the rear?

ahhh, think your right the one under the rear seat will most likely be for the rear. have you looked around the strut/hub? (never worked on a scooby so dnt kno all tht much bowt em )

i couldnt see anything but it is pitch black, ill get car up on ramp tomorrow and have a look
