ok whats everyones views??

its a really dry cough, and its like im just coughing up air!

tired cough medicine, icecream, ice cold water..

anything else?

hall soothers and the like have all been tried aswell..

On a more serious note. Drink water to re-hydrate. Eat fruit to get some vitamins and make sure you gargle on some anti bacterial mouthwash like the most hardcore Listerine (think it's red - it tastes of bad)...

Lemsip is good, but don't add sugar, as it'll rip your throat apart

I dont think it is prescription only so you should be able to buy it

good stuff that spray, ran out just before christmas when i had a bad throat, but its only available with a prescription

few drops of tea tree oil in warm water, gargle with it before bed, sleep, wake up with no sore throat.

Nope, can buy the spray or the mouthwash over the counter now. I got the spray the other week as I broke a tooth and occasionally it's very bastard painful. I think I prefer the mouthwash but the spray is good too.
