Alrite Guy's,

Just wondering what the 0-60 time is of a 106 GTI as parkers etc say its something like 8.5 secs, i thought it was just as quick as a Saxo VTS which is more like 7.5,

Parkers is BS.

It performs exactly the same as the VTS -Low to Mid 7s to 60. Same engine, practically the same car.

Why do you need it backing up? They have the same power, same engine, same weight etc.
Evo mag used to have it down as 7.4 but they have removed their performance stats page.

I've owned 2 106 Gti's by the way, and driven a VTS.

Parkers use manufacturers figured and Peugeot test their cars with passengers, luggae etc
