^^ same as I was thinking (and said a little above)
Im around 14.5 stone at the moment and Im in the bulking stage. I'll carry on like this until about June, then spend 6 or so weeks cutting before summer so Im more defined.
Under 10st and I can only imagine your either very small and slim, or extremely skinny.

I was about 10 stone 2 years ago after I was in magaluf and lost a stone in 10 days That was crazy, I put on weight fast and just started going to the gym again now and my muscles are returning, I have no intention of becoming defined for another couple of months like cosmo however ill be cutting a little before june

takes me 6ish weeks to cut, I dont have much body fat at the moment, so June works out about right for me! If I find and really bulking before hand I may make it a little earlier.

I may consider doing it your way then as I have been loosing weight just going to the gym and not being able to eat enough!
I have quite a fast metabolism too.

how much protein are you having a day?
If your bulking you should really be having 1.5g of protein for every lbs you weigh. So I have roughly 300g a day. If your not doing a regular weights workout then its pointless doing this as will just put weight on you and not muscle.
I'll cut this alot when I begin to cut.

Im going every other night at the moment, got myself a program being made on saturday so will be abit more dedicated after that,
To be honest I dont know how many pounds i weight just yet, ill work it out now. I take as much protein as I can afford however, I hate fish, and need to get over the fact of eating tuna so I can really push the protein levels up

Oh well... I'm just trying to get rid of flab. So couldn't give a shit at the mo.
when I was around 10-7 - 10-10 I tried bulking up, eating lots of protein before and after, and it was just pushing the fat I had left on my body out further... So just making it look bigger but not toned.
I can't be arsed with that shit.
So I'm gonna go down really low to remove all the fat first, then just try to build a bit of muscle, and with the lack of fat it should auto be defined imo.
I'm not wanting to be super big, I want to be a skinny cunt, with muscles... I do a lot of running / cross country / charity marathon running, so Want to still be able to do that. Just want my chest to be a better shape and my arms be more defined.

I dont eat fish either!
I mainly have chicken and other high protein foods and also one shake. If you spread it about through 6 meals a day then its much easier.

I'm only 5 foot 8 or 5 foot 9 - so that's half the reason I'm lighter... plus I've always looked bigger than my weight. Like when I was 13 and a half stone I looked big!!!

if your doing a lot of cardio you shouldnt have any fat on you really. I do plenty of cardio aswell as weight work and that stops me putting fat on whilst bulking.
Granted at the moment Im certainly not as toned as I was in the summer when I last cut, but that due to the bulking. Its just pontless to lose all the fat when you will only have to put some more on as you bulk.
You will find youve wasted a load of time when you try to bulk after losing the fat

I thought you were supposed to have protein within an hour of doing weights?
I also have it before to be double sure...

This is me at the end of a 10km charity run a few months ago... about 10 stone 6 ish here. (Excuse the retarded pose / expression - this was as I was finishing and they had a steep hill just before).
Plan to do another 10km soon or a half marathon nike Run in march.

Thing is, you look at lightweight boxers, like amir kahn etc... They're about 5 foot 8 - 5 foot 9. Weigh like 9 stone 8 and are just toned, muscle no fat.
that's how I'd want to be... Not big, not skinny little rake, just toned.

I've never had a protein shake, a few mates at uni had it after gym, but they were trying to get BIG.
Hmm, protein shake would make more sense, I hate having to cook chicken breast / having pre-cooked chicken ready for when I get back from the gym.
I sometimes have a low cal wrap (wrap containing 100 cals), lots of plain chicken and lettuce, nothing else... no sauce or anything.
Tasty. Just makes it a bit more interesting to eat.

you shouldnt be relying on protein shakes for the majority of your protein though.
They are good after workouts as your body is really efficient at absorbing it, so a drink mix of protein and carbs will be the best.
