i have the grill, but my car is a 1996 so looks like i have to cut the old one off. Is it an easy job and does it leave a mess or am i best just leaving it as it is?

So buy one of the brand new later ones on E Bay for £39.99 and spray it yourself.

Not hard to get a good finish as they are already primed. I have sprayed loads of bumpers and they all come out fine. Just take you're time.
