My missus run about n reg 1996 astra just passed MOT 1st time with one advisory to get front wishbone done..

Happy as..Not bad for a 10 year old car..

My polo just had it's MOT too, all i needs is a bit of rubber on the suspension its a releif after worrying so much about it failing

it's a worrying time...Not for me no more...Not bad for a 10 year old Astra that I bought for £600 6 months ago and done nothing to it.

my 1995 corsa has never failed an mot and ive had it 4 years straight through every time (gonna fail the next one now tho isnt it!!!)

i paid £250 for an L reg astra, ran it 18 months with one oil change and a tyre

passed 2 MOTs

then I swapped it for another astra, sold that for £740 on ebay, and the lad used mine for a few months, ran out of tax and MOT, bald tyres, dents everywhere - so he gave me it back for free

i then sold it as it was for £106 on ebay

Yup was quite chuffed... was expecting a lot more. Saying that I had spent the week getting it ready, cant believe I didnt spot the wishbone bush hanging out though.. lol

Best thing is it has 13 months mot on it just now so might sell it next month with a full years ticket.. lol

Nah its here till July.... lowering stage 2 is happening tommorow night, so speedbumps should be fun.. lol..
