to see how fast i can get my sxi - tonight ive been asking loads about swapping to a 1.6 engine and stuff - and ive realised how much i actually like my x12xe. is nippier than a lot of 1.4's including 1.4 8v corsa's WOO (beaten a few round my area, but thats standard 1.4's)

thinking of getting exhaust manifold - sportex 4-2-1 as i cant find any others for a 1.2 16v
new inlet manifold - dbilas flowtec.
new gearbox? ideas - want a balance of acceleration and top speed.
forced air induction kit - BMC or viper or something
carbon bonnet for weight saving
maaaaaybe a sports cat (but i think its too expensive)
mappable ecu? or a superchip.

anything else to do????

you'll probably think it a waste of time - but i reckon with tuning a 100+bhp 1.2 16v would be mental

lolol. looks fun but i hava thing about turbo's - just dont really like them - speshh since some goon had one of those electronic supercharger things on his 1.2 and it died after a week.......

gearbox ideas?
