rite guys, i bought me gsi in august and the first night i went out init the headgasket went, since then i have been rebuilding the engine with my mate, iv had the head skimmed and bought all new bits for the engine. i was ment to have it timmed up today, but when the mechanic has come he has told me that there are missing parts to the engine. Me and my mate tried looking for the engine parts but he has lost them so now im really frustrated with it. Also the mot has ran owt and i have to put it frew, i reali cant afford to put it frew if it needs alot of work, so its all getting to me lol

so here are my options

should i strip it and make some money back on it?
carry on trying to get it running?
get a loan and buy a good car with 12months mot and a good history to it?

tell me wot u think thankz rob.
