My car was hit during the night and ther is a far bit of damage...

What do i do, can i just claim of insurance? dont really have the cash to fix it myself!!!

call the police, may have details of if anything happened that night.

Otherwise if your fully comp then will have to claim off that!

yeah you will. even if there protected or thats what nearly happened to my mums cause someone hit here while it was parked up and because she didnt know who it was they said she would loose her no claims so she ended up not going through with it and paid hereself luckly it only needed painting.

if its protected you shouldnt lose it, regardless of if you found who it was or not.

not unless you want them to look into it, find that wasnt what happened and do you for insurance fraud

only going off what happened in my mums case. hers happened in a car park if that makes any difference.

buy a shit car off ebay, for silly cheap, get some one who has a license but doesnt drive to insure it with monthly payments and get them to crash into you.

Dont do this rely it wont be a very popular idea and probably illigal

if its normally parked on the driveway then it wont be a problem. It wont always be where you say it will be at night (what if your away somewhere, etc. etc.)

probably best to as they can possibly find the person who did it, or they may already have them you never know.

if someone hit my car and didnt stop I would.

You never know they may well of pulled someone in last night who had crashed round there.

If you are claiming you were hit and run the insurance will almost definitely want some sort of reference number from the police.
