I have 15" alloys on my 1.6i Corsa Sport. I’m thinking about changing them for a set of 17's but my car is lowered 40mm front and 35mm rear on SPAX springs with standard shocks.
Will they catch on the car? Has anyone else had any problems with them rubbing?
Cheers

Due to the suspension being "bouncy" because you dont have uprated shocks you will probably have to debolt the rear arches and possibly trim the some of the metal arch back. Try and get a wheel that is as close to et 45 as you can.

yes! my old corsa had 17's on on 40mm drop and rubbed like fook!
what wheels are they need a good offset mate
they will rub though unless you get arch work done to it

Was down 60 on 17's (check garage for pics) mine were et 42 and i had the arches debolted and bonded on and also had the arch flared out for more room, only rubbed with full car over bumps then

17s/18s lowered 70-80mm et 42. Do have a wide arch kit but didnt trim much of the arch.. only a bit onbiously debotled as well. Mine has never scrubbed!
