this is gonna sound like a stupid question, but what are throttle bodies? and what sorta differences do they make to the engine over the standard parts?

throttle bodies replace the standard inlet system with an individual throttle for each cylinder.

this give much better throttle response, and as much as double the standard power on some engines if some cams and aftermarket management is fitted.
