hello there every one just after abit of info, just purchased a corsa sport 1.4 on an R plate with the bottom end gone needing a re-grind , so the motors got to come out. iv should hopefully have just under a grand to spend is this enuff to turbo it, bearing in mind its only the profesional jobs that will need to got to a machine shop etc, i will be fillting the engine, all i know is i need a cortney sport turbo manifold, but what other turbos are sutable from other cars are what ecu, egnition system do i need to use.

i looked into this too mate

you will need alot of internal work to keep the car reliable low compression pistons and such like

In short, no, less than a grand is not enough to do it properly.

You could do it for that, but it would melt...

cheeper and more economic to drop a redtop or such in not that hard to do

The pistons you will need are around £600. Then you need it mapping to suit on and off boost. Both those will cost over a grand.
