depends what the price is at the minute, changes every week, my old man owns a scrappy but hell knock some off if theyve got weights or collets on them

dry bright copper wire is around 2200 per tonne
copper tube is around 1700 per tonne
brass is around 1000 per tonne
ali wheels are around 650 per tonne

weights are lead, collets are steel, wheels are ali, would be contaminated ali, prices vary with area aswell

there are cameras all over the place at my work. the only way to get anything out is air lifting with a helicopter.

i worked it out, if u have 700kg then you should get around £1500 well worth it if you can get it out

he might just want rid of it and get it out the way.

Ask him and say you'll try and get whatever you can for it and give him half the money, plus you'll get rid of it. Could still be worth 700 ish to you

good suggestion but i cant do that. He told me get shut of it about 12 months ago so i told him i threw it in the bin. i'll think of something. I'm sure there is a time during the weekend where the camera system shuts itself down and restarts. Should give me a couple of mins to load the company van up. I might have to do it in a few trips tho.
